New CHSAA RPI Ranking Formula

For the 2016-17 school year, CHASAA has moved to a new ranking formula called the Rating Percentage Index (RPI). This is the formula being used to rank varsity team sports for playoffs. Baseball is a CHSAA 5A Spring Sport and at Lakewood, it is a competitive/tryout sport. This year the varsity team won the Jeffco League and the season before, placed second. There are two school teams – Varsity and Junior Varsity, and two outside Freshman/Sophomore teams affiliated with the Lakewood Junior Baseball Association league. The selection process is based on
