Gymnastics Overview

Lakewood High School’s Gymnastics Team competes at CHSAA’s 5A level and is a Fall Sport. Girls of all levels and abilities are encouraged to join the team. Those who are new to gymnastics, are encouraged to take additional classes to improve their skill and build muscles. At LHS there is only one Varsity level team.

Summer Gymnastics

Lakewood does not sponsor summer gymnastic classes, but girls of any level are encouraged to contact Golden Gymnastics to join the High School class on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00-8:00 pm. Gymnastics Team Places 5th in State! Boll & Neff in Top 15

Congratulations to the Girls Gymnastics team for their fifth Place team finish among 5A teams at the CHSAA State Championship Meet! Lakewood was one of 10 teams that qualified for the competition and scored 179.65 points. The top team was Pomona with 190.925 points. Two other Jeffco teams competed; Arvada West took 6th and Chatfield, 8th.
