Returning for Their Race
Ø The check-in tent will be divided into two sections.
Ø WEST SIDE – checked teams with wrist bands. Each team member will need to show their wrist band and chute number written on the back of their hand. They will be rechecked by officials.
Ø EAST SIDE – (restricted area) is for those teams that will be racing next. Athletes will be able to warm up and do run outs. The area along the fence will be designated BOYS and GIRLS for athletes to put their warm ups. Officials will do a quick uniform check and assist teams and athletes into their assigned chute.
Ø Teams will be allowed into the restricted area immediately after the start of the previous race.
Ø Team members will be placed into their chutes and allowed to do run-outs by officials who will do a quick check of wrists and uniforms.
Ø Coaches will be asked to leave with 5 minutes left before final instructions are given.
Note to Coaches
Coaches: please note that the warning for an illegal uniform will be given to each athlete at the time they receive their wristband.
It will be considered an unsportsmanlike act if an athlete changes uniforms once they have been checked in and receive their wrist band. This athlete will be disqualified from the meet, and they will be checked again!
