Girls Tennis Finishes Strong, Set for Regionals

Girls Tennis Team, with 4 players out of their lineup, finished their season with a close loss to Ralston Valley and strong wins over Arvada West and Bear Creek. Despite the set backs they finished 3rd in Jeffco League and are now set for Regional play in Boulder next Wed. and Thur.

Girls Tennis Win Over Dakota Ridge

With several varsity players out of the lineup the girls tennis team defeated Dakota Ridge 6-1 last week. And despite 5 regular players out of the lineup the Tigers took 3rd place in the Broomfield Tournament Friday. Olivia Desso, in a close match, won #1 singles title.

Girls Tennis, Great Start to League Play

After a 2-5 loss to one of the areas best tennis programs, Denver East, the LHS girls rebounded with a 6-1 win over Columbine to begin league play. The only loss was a 3 set marathon at #2 singles. Great start.

Girls Varsity Tennis Team 4-3 Over D’Evelyn

Singles varsity players Olivia Desso, Johanna Landmark, Carley Bennett and doubles team Maya Griswold/Gianna Neathammer led the way in a close win over a solid D’Evelyn team.

Girls Varsity vs Holy Family

Girls Varsity Tennis lost a close one to Holy Family 3-4. Four of the losses included tiebreakers. Captains Ellen Snare and Kai Miles won at #1 Doubles, Olivia Deseo and Fallon Hobson dominated at #1 and #3 Singles.
