Other Sports

  • Basketball (Boys & Girls) & Baseball – Teams have already been determined for off-season summer leagues. Tryouts for the 2017-18 basketball teams will occur starting November 10, and there will be pre-tryout camps in early November. For Baseball, winter workouts will start in late October and tryouts will start Feb. 26, 2018 with a pre-tryout camp the week earlier.
  • Swim & Dive (Boys & Girls) and Girls Golf – These sports do not host any off-season activities, as many of the athletes swim/golf on competitive teams year-round. Tryouts for the girls swim team will start Nov. 10, and the boys swim team and girls golf are spring sports and won’t meet until Feb. 26, 2018.
  • Track & Field – There is no off-season training, but many runners join the Cross Country summer runs to stay in shape. 


  • The first official day for Fall sports across the entire state of Colorado is Monday, August 14, 2017, except for Boys Golf which starts August 7th. This is the first day for mandatory practices and tryouts.
  • The first day of school for Jeffco is Thursday, August 17, 2017. So this year, sports start before the first day of school.
  • Registration for Fall Sports will open up in late July. Come back to this web site this summer for more details.
  • Fall Sports consist of Boys Golf, Boys Soccer, Boys Tennis, Cross Country (Boys & Girls); Football, Gymnastics, Softball and Volleyball.
  • The one important thing you should do this summer is get a sports physical. Ask your doctor for a letter stating you are fit for sports or use the form below. Just be sure to keep the paperwork so it’s ready to turn in with your registration materials.  Physician Statement 2017_18
